A Lifetime
Around Food.
A family tradition built on great food, hard work and generations of experience.
What started with our father’s passion for cooking in Italy, France and Australia eventually became our passion too. From growing up in the kitchen to opening our first pizzeria as teenagers, food has always been in our blood.
In 2020, we brought everything we had learned together and created Food Corp. A family-run pizzeria built around one simple idea: Great food, generous portions and honest prices.

Our story really starts with our father, Americo (Eric). Born in Italy and raised in France, Dad completed his culinary training in France before making the move to Australia to follow his passion for cooking.
Over the years, he had the opportunity to cook for celebrities, politicians and alongside some of the industry’s well-known chefs. His background in French cuisine, combined with his Italian heritage and years spent working alongside Italian chefs in Australia, shaped him into the cook and chef he is today.
Dad opened and ran a number of venues throughout Victoria before eventually making his way to Queensland, where he continued doing what he loved, cooking great food and building businesses around it.
And That's Where We Come In
Orlando and Alfred.
We grew up around kitchens. Some of our earliest memories are of being around Dad, watching, learning and eventually getting our hands dirty ourselves. Cooking wasn't something we simply decided to learn, it was part of our everyday life.
From a young age, we worked side by side in Italian kitchens, learning the importance of good food, fresh ingredients, hard work and, most importantly, looking after the people who walk through your doors.
Our First Pizzeria
In 2013, at just 18 and 17 years old, we opened our first pizzeria in Gatton, Queensland. It was a big step for two young brothers, but it taught us more than we could have imagined.
After years of running businesses and gaining experience, we eventually found our way back to the Gold Coast.
Then Came Food Corp
Then came an idea from Alfred.
Why not open a pizzeria in the same suburb where Dad had once had a venue when we were growing up?
We put our heads together, combined everything we'd learned from Dad, our own experiences and our love for Italian food. And in 2020, Food Corp Pizza Pasta & Ribs was born.
What started as one little family business has grown into something we're incredibly proud of.
